​​​My Career in Education
My passion for teaching began when I volunteered at a local school, where I found working with children incredibly rewarding. Their open-mindedness and the joy of watching them grow and develop fuelled my desire to pursue a career in education. I began by supporting a child one-on-one in the classroom, and later trained with an inspiring team of globally experienced teachers at a leading U.K. school. This marked the start of my teaching career.

The Transition to Online Tutoring

After many years of teaching in various U.K. and international schools, both state and private, I chose to transition to private tutoring to offer a more personalised approach to education.This change has allowed me to explore various learning styles and customise my approach to suit each student’s unique needs. I am a firm believer that engaging instruction is key to effective teaching, and by offering private and small group tutoring, I can ensure a fully immersive learning experience.

Helping Children Achieve Academically
I set high expectations for the students I teach, ensuring they are fully engaged and that their learning programmes are tailored to their individual needs. Instant feedback and clear communication are essential for building students' confidence in what they are learning. I also prioritise challenging students with new concepts to ensure they gain the most from each class.

My Life in Switzerland and Beyond

Since relocating to Switzerland in 2019, I've had the opportunity to explore the country extensively, from skiing in Zermatt and Gstaad to hiking in Andermatt and Engelberg. My travels have also taken me to diverse global destinations, enhancing my cultural awareness and expanding my global perspective. I integrate these experiences into my teaching, fostering international-mindedness and creating a more inclusive and engaging learning environment. I've also enjoyed immersing myself in Switzerland's rich culture, from savoring its renowned chocolate and cheese to connecting with people from all around the world!
